Pima Association of Governments (PAG)

The Pima Association of Governments (PAG) is a non-profit council of governments working together to coordinate regional planning in several areas including transportation, the environment and energy. This means they work together to develop regional transportation plans through its Transportation Improvement Program and its management of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). PAG also plays a key role in facilitating wastewater planning. Through its participation in the Regional Water Assessment Task Force, PAG supports the region’s efforts to “achieve a sustainable water future.” With expenditures exceeding $6.5 million in FY2010-2011, PAG’s impact on the region’s trajectory into the future has been substantial. Indeed, IGT’s efforts with regard to our visioning and planning initiative would not have been possible without PAG’s active support.
