Recent graduate Cliff Johns (MS.Arch. 2012) has been appointed the new Project Manager of Development at the Ft. Defiance Medical Center on the Navajo Nation in Ft. Defiance, Arizona. He will overseeing new architectural projects for the facility with an emphasis on energy efficiency in all new designs. At present these include a new training and educational facility, wellness center, hospital warehouse and new 20-unit energy efficient housing development. In the longer term Cliff will be planning for a 80,000 SF Comprehensive Long Term Care Facility.

Cliff says his SoA experience with energy software, such as Energy-10 and eQuest, will help him as he implements new energy performance standards for the Medical Center.
