Architecture Alumnus Michael Scherotter (B.Arch 1993) took the road less traveled for an architecture school grad by going to work for Microsoft and making a career in software as a "Principal Technical Evangelist."

"It's been an exciting journey but my architectural education at Arizona gave me the skills I use in my work today and many of those skills are not taught in software/computer science educational programs."
Check out a talk he recently gave about 3D Printing for an annual software developer conference that Microsoft puts on and visit his blog to see how Michael converted his SoA degree into something innovative and exciting outside the "profession."
