SoA Associate Professor Beth Weinstein will contribute the chapter "Bringing performativity into architectural pedgagogy” to Performing Architectures: Contemporary Projects, Practices and Pedagogies, a collection of twelve essays edited by Andrew Filmer and Juliet Rufford.

 

The book will examine the relationships that exist between theatre, performance and architecture within an "expanded field" of spatial and artistic practice. The essays that make up the collection ask what new terms, what modes of thinking, and what techniques and practices have emerged (or might emerge) through encounters between theatre and performance.
