Nearly half of the buildings that will be standing in 2030  don't exist today. Emerging trends in housing and  transportation will profoundly influence how we reinvent 

our urban areas, making them more sustainable and livable for future generations. Arizona is finally starting to show its wrinkles. However, our downtowns can be rejuvenated by interconnecting spaces with multi-modal transportation and mixed-use development through diverse public and private partnerships. This event featured the following distinguished panelists: Fletcher McCusker, CEO, Sinfonia HealthCare Corp., and chair of the board for Rio Nuevo, Michael Keith, CEO, Downtown Tucson Partnership, Arthur C. Nelson, associate dean for research and discovery, University of Arizona. The session was moderated by: Janice Cervelli, dean of the UA College of Architecture, Planning & Landscape Architecture.
