Associate Professor of Architecture History Lisa Schrenk has been invited to give a lecture and do a book signing as part of the Museum of Science and Industry's 80th Anniversary Celebration next month. Her talk, Catch a Star: Innovative Displays of Architecture and Scientific Technology at Chicago’s 1933-34 Century of Progress International Exposition, scheduled on June 23rd in Chicago, will look at both the innovative modern architecture and displays at the second Chicago World's Fair, including some of the exhibits that now are housed in the museum.
