This spring Lisa Schrenk, associate professor of architecture, presented the paper, "Design Evolution: From Neoclassicism to Art Deco to Streamlining and Modern Architectural Forms at the 1933-34 Century of Progress International Exposition," at the 2016 Popular Cultural /American Culture Association, in Seattle and the paper, "The Residences of John Daily News and His Three Sons: Chicago's Architects' Small House Service Bureau Model Homes," at the Southwest Popular Culture/American Culture Association Annual Conference in Albuquerque. Lisa serves as the chair for the Material Culture and Built Environment area for the SWPACA organization.
