While in Chicago to present a lecture at the Museum of Science and Industry, SOA Associate Professor Lisa Schrenk took the opportunity to return to the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio in Oak Park to help out at a youth architectural design workshop that she and an architect developed almost 25 years ago while working as the Director of Education for the FLW H&S Foundation. The extremely successful workshop, in which students design and build a model of their own USONIAN house in only three mornings while working in the drafting room of Wright’s Oak Park studio, is now viewed as one of the organization’s legacy educational programs.
