Masoud Sharikzadeh First Runner-Up in National Competition
M.S. Arch student Masoud Sharikzadeh is the first runner-up in Hammer & Hand’s 3rd Annual perFORM Building Design Competiton, for which architectural students and interns must design a net zero energy, mixed-use, multifamily building in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Entries were judged based on design, energy, and community response. Resourcefulness, replicability, adaptability (future proofing), and beauty were also considered.
