A multidisciplinary, multi year team of students covering three specialties (architecture, planning, real estate development) is National Finalists in the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Low Income Housing Challenge. Led by advisor Lecturer Eduardo Guerro (Architecture), the student team of Michael Kolt (MRED '16), Jack Kemmerly (MRED '16), Nejlah Hummer (MSP '17), Queston Kwolek (B.Arch '17), Christine Moos (B.Arch '19), Devin Michaelis (B.Arch '19), and Tim Kilpatrick (B.Arch '20) and assisted by Valeria Moraga (B.Arch '17), and Diego O'Farrill (B.Arch '17) traveled to San Francisco to present their proposal to the competition's board of directors. The challenge was a "business plan" competition whose goal is to inform, educate, and attract the next generation of affordable housing professionals.
