SoA student Bernardo Teran's image, featured in last week's I-11 SuperCorridor kudos, was created as part of a week-long individual design charrette. Students were part of a cross-programming exercise where they were assigned a variety of programs and asked to rethink and find a relationship among them in the context of a typical highway section. Bernardo was given a vertical farm, farmers market, hunting, library, viewing opportunities, driverless cars, smart advertisement, high speed rail, and solar power energy, resulting in the image below.
