Three CAPLA Students Intern for City of Tucson
Three CAPLA students are currently serving as interns at the City of Tucson's Office of Conservation & Sustainable Development. Master of Science in Planning student Samuel Paz, and Sustainable Built Environment students Patricia Paul and Gabriel Beita-Kiser are helping the City launch its pilot of the STAR sustainable rating system. The City is so impressed with the three CAPLA interns, that they have decided to open up a few more positions!
STAR stands for Sustainability Tools for Assessing & Rating Communities. The system is built by and for local governments. Learn more on the STAR Communities website and contact Ladd Keith at email@example.com if you are interested in interning with the Tucson team.
