Biography

Rob E. Farr II, AIA is principal in Cook Douglass Farr Lemons Architects + Engineers based in Jackson Mississippi.  A graduate of the class of 1974, he became licenseed in 1974 and a stockholder in the firm in 1986.  Rob is currently serving the firm of 36 team members as president.  Rob is honored to be able to practice with his son Robert Farr III, as he also had the honor of working with his father when he joined the firm.  The firm has now spanned three generations of architects in the pursuit of quality and effective design services.  Their practice as architects + engineers has been very rewarding and they have had the privilege of working on significant projects across the Southeast and Southwest.  Robs projects have included the Mississippi Capitol Complex, two museums of history and civil rights, University of Mississippi Bryant School of Medicine, Children's Hospital of Mississippi, Residential Colleges at the University of Mississippi and the Cochran Center for Natural Products Research, just to name a few completed by the team.  After 46 years of enjoyable and prosperous practice Ron is still indebted to CAPLA for wonderful friends, a fantastic education and for igniting the spark of creativity.
