Joey Iuliano is a graduate from CAPLA's Planning program (MS '15) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Geography. Prior to UA, Joey attended Purdue University where he received a master's in Health and Kinesiology (MS '12) and bachelor's in Organizational Leadership and Supervision (BS '10). Joey's research interests are how the built environment influences people's transportation choices, specifically when it comes to active transportation. Currently, Joey is teaching the Sustainable Built Environments (SBE) senior capstone and has assisted teaching sustainable design and planning, SBE internships, and intro to regional planning. Joey has also helped develop the content and layout for the SBE online courses. In his spare time, Joey is a competitive cyclist and races across the Southwest for the UA Cycling Team.
