Drachman Institute Community Call for Projects

DUE APRIL 1, 2024


The Drachman Institute is accepting applications for community projects for 2024-2025. Successful projects will come with project funding, clear partnership(s) and stated future deliverable(s).

The Drachman Institute focuses on projects that speak directly to the goals of increasing equity, resilience, connection and belonging across the built environment.

Please see core Drachman Institute research, planning, design and outreach skills for an understanding of the Institute’s capacities for successful partnerships. Additionally, please see the Drachman Institute project pages for examples of past successful projects across the Institute’s capacities.


To be considered as a 2024-2025 project, please fill out the project template below and submit by April 1, 2024. All project submissions will be reviewed by the director and Faculty Executive Committee based on a criteria of core mission, capacity and potential for impact. Successful projects will be notified in June 2024.

Capacity and Impact

Note: Funding is an important consideration in project selection to ensure project success. Typically, projects are not considered for less than $25,000. However, other diverse avenues for project support will be considered, such as in-kind staff hours, matching funds from other grants and agencies, and materials and resources. The direct need of the project/organization will be considered in the selection process.
