Camp Architecture is a series of week-long summer day programs designed for students interested in the field of architecture. Participants learn to draw by hand and on the computer, construct models in the CAPLA Materials Lab, test structural models, and learn about sustainability and careers in the design field. Taught by our inspiring young architects at the School of Architecture, with the support of outstanding student assistants, aspiring architects will get a unique glimpse into the world of design while acquiring skills unavailable outside a college setting.
Designed for middle school and high school students, Camp Architecture is a five-day sequence of highly orchestrated workshops. There are four sessions available throughout the month of June, 2017:
1 week - full day (M-F / 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) - $395 (Lunch break noon-1:00pm, lunch not included)

In October 2016 Camp Architecture partnered up with the American Institute of Architects and Habitat for Humanity to offer a mini-free Camp Architecture to middle and high school students. The workshop was a single day, free event where students worked in teams along with local design professionals to help design a potential new home for Habitat's new project, a new single family residence located within Tucson.
