Undergraduate Tours

Prospective undergraduate students who are also interested in learning more about the University of Arizona campus should sign up for an Arizona campus tour followed by a tour of our facilities. Visitors learn about our accredited Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Design Arts and Practices, Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments degrees as well as tour of our world-class Model and Materials Labs and the Underwood Sonoran Landscape Laboratory, a sustainable desert garden lab.

Prospective graduate students are welcome to tour our one-of-a-kind learning environment, spacious studios, computer labs and award-winning facilities. You will meet with Emilio Romero, CAPLA's graduate services coordinator, for a customized experience based on your intended program of study. Although we will work to accommodate all prospective students interested in touring the facilities, we do ask for two weeks' notice in order to plan appropriately for your visit.

Visit the University of Arizona
The University of Arizona's main campus overs 380 acres in central Tucson. It is a hub of community activity: concerts, plays, lectures, museums, arboretum, poetry readings, athletic events and much more.
Visiting CAPLA
CAPLA West and CAPLA East (CAPLA Building, formerly Architecture Building) Public Hours
The CAPLA Building is currently open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Additional student access via CatCard is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Parking Options
Guests may park in the Park Avenue Garage, located on the northeast corner of Speedway Boulevard and Park Avenue. View hourly and daily rates for the garage. Once you have parked, walk south on Olive Road, through the Speedway Boulevard underpass and the college is the first building to your left (east).
For those visiting after 5 p.m. for special events, free parking is available in Lot 3039. Head south on Mountain Avenue from Speedway Boulevard, turn right on Second Street, then right on Palm Street. You’ll find the CAPLA Building on the northwest end of the parking lot.
From Tucson International Airport
From Tucson International Airport, head north on Tucson Boulevard. Tucson Boulevard begins to turn to the northwest and becomes Benson Highway. As the road begins to curve, watch for a sign that says "Kino Parkway - City Center." Turn right onto Kino Parkway. Kino will eventually become Campbell Avenue. Continue north on Campbell. Take a left on Speedway Boulevard. Take a right on Park Avenue, and park in the Park Avenue Parking Garage.
From Phoenix
From Phoenix, take I-10 east to Tucson. Exit at at The University of Arizona/Speedway Blvd (exit #257). Head east on approximately two miles. Take a left at Park Avenue, and park in the Park Avenue Parking Garage.
