CAPLA Student Advising
The undergraduate and graduate academic advisers of the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture are available to meet with students to discuss questions regarding admissions, degree requirements, career planning and more.
CAPLA is and was both a school and a home to me, 11,000 kilometers away from my home and my family. Here, I found a loving environment that I look forward to being a part of everyday.

Bachelor of Architecture student Rafael Taiar, who is from the small city of Vinhedo in São Paulo, Brazil, came to CAPLA for what he knew would be a challenging and rewarding undergraduate experience.

Sara Ghaemi, who holds a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from Iran, came to CAPLA to study the Master of Science in Architecture because it provides an opportunity to focus on sustainability and energy efficiency in the built environment.

Heather Shi entered CAPLA's on-campus Master of Real Estate Development program in Fall 2019 after earning her undergraduate degree in computer science and technology in China. Here, she's found real estate development finance to be particularly fascinating.
