Certificates
The College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA) offers five graduate certificate programs which may be paired with any graduate degree or taken on their own. Graduate certificates offer students the opportunity to show future employers that they have completed specialized training at a post-graduate level and that they are willing and able to adapt to changing work environments.
Graduate Certificate in Heritage Conservation
This certificate educates students in the preservation of the built environment and prepares students for conservation practice.
Graduate Certificate in Energy Efficient Building Design
Students will acquire cutting-edge knowledge and skills to support architectural design for energy efficient buildings.
Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development Analysis
This certificate focuses on the fundamentals of real estate development and the processes by which decisions are made.

This certificate centers on the fundamentals of finance in real estate development.

This certificate presents the fundamentals of real estate development via in-depth analysis.
