Employers have multiple ways to engage with students this year based on adjustments to provide a more engaging event:

Thursday, February 8, 2024

8-9 a.m. - Employer and Partners Thank You Breakfast
This year we invite all our employer partners to join us for breakfast on Friday morning. This is a time to network with other industry partners and for us to share with you upcoming opportunities to engage with our students and college programs.

9-11 a.m. - Job and Employer Browse
This will be an open table browse for all CAPLA students at any level. During this time, students may scope internship and career opportunities and hear your elevator pitch on what your organization does. During this time, we ask employers to fill any vacant interview slots or invite students to interview the following day (available for Platinum and Gold sponsors).

11 a.m. - Noon - Lunch

Noon - 5 p.m. - Job Interview Fair
This is CAPLA’s traditional interview session, reducing the overall vacant slots employers used to have, but also allowing employers to fill those openings with students earlier in the day. These interviews will be 25-minutes sessions, with a 5-minute transition.

6:30-9 p.m. - Networking Night Reception
After a day of meeting and interviewing students, we invite our employers, students and faculty to gather for an evening of open networking. Location TBD. During this time, you might meet a student you didn’t have the opportunity to interview earlier; in that case, we welcome Platinum and Gold sponsors to invite the student to a Friday interview.

Friday, February 10, 2023

10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Optional Interviews for Title, Platinum, Gold, and Silver Sponsors
To help support employers who need more time to interview students or who met a student outside the interview sessions on Thursday, Title, Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors are offered space Friday to hold additional interviews. CAPLA will provide a more private interview space, allowing you more time to interview candidates.

Interview schedules will be provided beginning the last week of January. Student interview scheduling begins mid-January. Registration deadline: January 12.
