The Zaireeka event in the Sundt Gallery is a playful experiment involving a community of participants, four compact discs, eight somewhat aligned speakers, countless cacophonous reverberations, and even more smiles, smirks, twinges and curious glances. The experiment is meant to challenge the participants to explore the potential of space/place/architecture and the things that are entwined in it: sounds, sights, smells and people. The experiment is made into an event, but really it is a curated irreproducible experience, a rather strange yet enjoyable one.
