Carlos A. Murrieta, AIA, CSI, LEED AP BD+C is the acting president of the National Organization of Minority Architects Arizona Chapter (NOMA-Arizona) and the cofounder of Merge Architectural Group, based in Phoenix. He was educated in Mexico (ITSEM) and is registered both in Mexico and Arizona.
Women in Architecture Society (WIAS) is an organization that focuses on the support and positive representation of women in architecture and other, related design fields. Their goal is to empower women and provide advice and guidance as women go through school and the profession in how to handle themselves throughout their education and career.
Join WAIS and NOMA-Arizona as they team up to discuss equity, diversity and inclusion with the lens of implementation of forward-thinking complexity. The goal of this discussion is to take WIAS's year motto and NOMA-Arizona's Challenge and build upon them to create tangible goals for every participant to implement in their lives.
Co-curated by School of Architecture Academic Events, CAPLA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and WIAS, with the AIA of Southern Arizona and NOMA-Arizona.
