Gretchen Luhr

Gretchen Luhr comes to CAPLA with a background in social sciences research in academic and applied settings. She's interested in the interplay of the built environment and sociocultural determinants on health and wellbeing across the life course. She is an alumna of Portland State University (PhD, Urban Studies) and the University of Oregon (BS, Psychology).

Gretchen supports all CAPLA graduate students on their academic journey by advising them on various requirements from admissions through graduation. She also helps prospective applicants with their graduate application questions. In her spare time, she likes to read and make a mess in the kitchen, and is a mother to three cats.
