Shaun Brown

Shaun earned a minor in Africana Studies during his undergraduate program in Geoography.  This program enriched Shaun's historical knowledge, critical thinking, and perspective of culture and diversity.  Shaun then studied community and landuse planning in the Master of Science in Urban Planning program.  As the District Planner for the Tucson Unified School District, Shaun has applied the knowledge he gained of cultural diveristy and critical thinking, along with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to create Desegregation Impact Analysis reports, generate enrollment projections, analyze demographics for Pima County using Census and State of Arizona data.  Shaul manages the facility master planning for TUSD, keeping his goal to support underrepresented communities whenever possible.
