The four academic advisors of the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture meet with students to discuss questions regarding admissions, degree requirements, career planning and more.
All CAPLA academic advisors are located on the first floor of the CAPLA West Building in the Student and Alumni Center (CAPLA 101) and meets with students both in person and online.

Academic Advisor
Tayler advises main campus undergraduate students with advanced standing who are preparing for graduation in the Bachelor of Architecture and the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. She also advises students interested in a CAPLA accelerated master’s program (AMP). Please refer to Trellis for specific student cohorts and to schedule a meeting.
Academic Advisor
Jacob advises Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture students through the halfway point of each program. This includes the first 5 semesters of the B.Arch program, and the first 4 semesters of the BLA program. Graduate Programs Coordinator and Advisor
Gretchen supports all CAPLA graduate students on their academic journey by advising them on various requirements from admissions through graduation. She also helps prospective applicants with their graduate application questions. Gretchen also advises RED minor students at the undergraduate level.
