Seth Asare Okyere joined the college this semester as visiting assistant professor of urban planning as part of CAPLA's inaugural emerging faculty fellow program. Mackenzie Waller joined the college this semester as assistant professor of landscape architecture. Assistant Research Scientist Adriana Zuniga came to CAPLA from Mexico in 2008 to pursue her MS Architecture degree. Since then, she has also earned a PhD in Arid Lands Resources Sciences and has taught and conducted research on human-landscape connections at CAPLA since 2015.

Teresa Rosano, a partner in Ibarra Rosano Design Architects, joined CAPLA in 2011 and now teaches across the spectrum of the undergraduate and graduate architecture curriculum while continuing her practice and other passions, including martial arts.
