Who will create the future of sustainable environments? You will.
While prospective students are required to submit application materials through University of Arizona Undergraduate Admissions, our goal is to help you through the process. Let’s get started!
Application Process
The University of Arizona application process varies based on whether you are a first-year student, international student or transfer student. Learn more:
Students who would like to enter the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) can complete general education courses at their current institution; however, it is recommended that they spend no more than one or two semesters elsewhere before transferring. Due to the studio-based curriculum of the BLA, the major requires four full years of study regardless of credits or degree programs completed elsewhere.
Please contact capla-ugrad@arizona.edu for any specific questions unique to your course history.
TOURS & INFORMATION SESSIONS
CAPLA’s facilities include dedicated studio space, world-class materials and model-building laboratories, unique spaces inside and outside for students to showcase their work or just hang out and much more. Join us in person or virtually.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
After their first full year in the program, students are eligible for a number of CAPLA-specific scholarships and we’ll guide you through the application process. The university also offers other scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
