Professional preparedness for real estate developers begins at the University of Arizona.
Students in the UArizona Master of Real Estate Development form a tight-knit community, whether they’re studying in Tucson or online.
As a student in the MRED program, you’ll benefit from case-oriented teaching and learning, enhanced by the integration of practitioners into the classroom experience. Through lessons and individual and group projects, you’ll strengthen your skills through significant and consistent practice with analysis and decision-making.
Site visits and capstone experiences completed in partnership with development and investment firms will prepare you to thrive in the industry upon graduation.
In the Master of Real Estate Development program there are engaging discussions with the whole class, and different perspectives are welcome.

Meet Master of Real Estate Development Students
Students in the MRED program come to CAPLA from across the country and around the world. Their passions, like their professional experience, are diverse. Meet a few of our students:
Talie Bonds is a UArizona Track and Field student athlete whose goal is to become a professional athlete. But she also understands the value of preparing for life outside of athletics and knows the MRED will prepare her for long-term career success.
Heather Shi entered the MRED after earning her undergraduate degree in computer science and technology. At CAPLA, she's found real estate development finance to be particularly fascinating.
Tucson, the Coolest Desert City in the World
We hate to give away our best-kept secret, but Tucson is one of the best places to live in the country (and Outside magazine agrees).
Located in the lush Sonoran desert, the metropolitan area of a million people is nestled between five mountain ranges, has a world-renowned multicultural food scene and eclectic neighborhoods and offers year-round outdoor activities, including cycling, hiking, rock climbing and astronomy. You’ll fit right in.
