Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Admissions & Cost

While prospective students are required to submit application materials through University of Arizona Undergraduate Admissions, our goal is to help you through the process.

Students who meet the general admissions requirements for Assured Admissions of the University of Arizona will be admitted to the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.

These include that you attended a regionally accredited high school AND:
• Rank in the top 25% of your graduating class, OR
• Have a 3.0 unweighted GPA through your sixth semester in the core competency requirements

For students who don’t meet the above requirements, the university utilizes a comprehensive review process, which means it considers many factors (academic, extracurricular and personal statement) when reviewing your application.

  • 22 or older
You will need a minimum 2.0 cumulative college/university GPA.

Students who would like to enter the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) can complete general education courses at their current institution; however, it is recommended that they spend no more than one or two semesters elsewhere before transferring. Due to the studio-based curriculum of the BLA, the major requires four full years of study regardless of credits or degree programs completed elsewhere.
