Hui-Yen Yang has designed an interpretation of a contemporary library branch located in Tucson, Arizona. She developed an architectural language of intersecting and overlapping curvilinear walls, which she utilized to create an inviting and playful building that would be very effective in creating a social and educational environment for this specific community. Hui-Yen pushed this language to organize, connect and separate interior and exterior spaces. She also developed highly interactive and appealing outdoor spaces for the public and a natural spatial entry for the users of the library.
