Sustainable by Design brings four internationally recognized Native American and Indigenous leaders in the built environment to the University of Arizona to share perspectives on sustainability that position community well-being, environmental stewardship, and responsibility to future generations as equal and interdependent foundations of sustainable practice.

Framed by the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale’s U.S. Pavilion, it examines the porch as a powerful architectural concept and positions architecture as a civic practice rooted in, for, and sometimes provocatively outside of its context.

Huê-Tâm Jamme investigates how new technologies reshape urban life, focusing on mobility, work, retail, and social interactions in cities. At the intersection of planning and innovation, her research addresses how to create livable, accessible, and equitable urban spaces.
