Healing Architecture: Orianna Zimmerer '19 M.Arch
Orianna Zimmerer's Healing Architecture is a center for rehabilitation of addicts located at the Lafayette Park area in Detroit, Michigan. The project follows principles that focus on the relationship between quality design and patient recovery, including easy-to-navigate paths, daylight, privacy and views of nature.

CAPLA Design/Build
CAPLA Design/Build involves students in hands-on projects via studio courses, independent study and other courses with lab components. The pedagogy of design/build centers around the belief that learning by doing is a powerful method of gaining and retaining knowledge because of the immediate application to tangible problems.
