The Consulate of Mexico in Tucson, UNAM Tucson, and the College or Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture warmly invite you to the exhibition Landmarks in Ink: Reference Points of Mexico City by artist Miriam Libhaber, hosted at the Sundt Gallery in CAPLA.
 

About the Artist

Miriam Libhaber has presented more than 30 solo exhibitions and over 200 group shows internationally. Her work has received multiple recognitions in graphics and painting, including an award at the Caracas Biennale. Her pieces form part of collections in Buenos Aires, the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Arts, and several cultural institutions in Mexico. She has published two major works: Reference Points (2012), a collection of more than 70 monoprints of emblematic Mexico City buildings, and Miriam Libhaber o el Gozo de la Creación (2017).
 
Through her work, she reimagines and reintroduces the iconography of her cultural heritage, creating new visual narratives through her unique artistic lens.
