Alanus von Radecki, PhD, CEO, Data Competence Center for Cities and Regions (DKSR)
Alanus von Radecki (PhD) heads the Data Competence Centre for Cities and Regions (DKSR), working globally with cities to enhance data management and scale open-source solutions for sustainable, resilient urban areas. He has over 13 years of experience in data- and innovation-driven urban development. Alanus holds a EngD in Technology Management and two master’s degrees in governance and sociology. His portfolio includes advising cities like Vienna, Porto, Prague, Berlin and many more on digital transformation.
Brian Bidolli, CAPLA Lecturer & Executive Director, Norwalk Redevelopment Agency
Brian Bidolli is a lecturer with the University of Arizona and executive director of the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency in Norwalk, Connecticut. During his time on campus in Tucson, Brian started the online Master of Real Estate Development program and worked with local developers on numerous development projects. Prior to his time in Arizona, Brian was the executive director of the Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Governments, a regional transportation and economic development organization in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Through his work with elected officials, Brian has led numerous public policy initiatives, both domestic and international, with a focus on the integration of data and technology into government and business processes
Laura Sharp, PhD, Equity Data Manager, City of Tucson
Laura Sharp is a data analysis and visualization expert with 10+ years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS). Laura has three degrees in Geography, including a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Since graduating in 2018, Laura has worked at the City of Tucson as a GIS Data Analyst in the IT Department and Lead Planner in the Housing & Community Development Department.
At the City, Laura has focused on web GIS, data storytelling, and design, which she uses to create compelling visualizations to inform citizens and decision-makers. Laura has supported numerous public-facing projects that engage citizens through interactive data visualizations, data collection tools, and websites including Tucson Delivers, Climate Action Hub, Poverty & Urban Stress, and the Housing Affordability Strategy for Tucson.
Nick Maynard, PhD, CEO, US IGNITE
Nick Maynard serves as the Co-founder and CEO of US Ignite, where he is responsible for leading the organization in its mission to accelerate technology innovation and strengthen regional economic development. Prior to US Ignite, Nick was a Program Director at the National Science Foundation, where he helped launch national advanced wireless research and technology accelerator programs. He was also the Assistant Director at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where he launched a Federal R&D portfolio, launching more than $1B in new programs, including President Obama’s ConnectHome program of free broadband for public housing students. Nick received his BA and MA from the University of Chicago and a Public Policy PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Architect with Master's in Computational Design from Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe, University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Detmold, Germany. Guest Lecturer at Umeå School of Architecture, Sweden. Research field: algorithmic workflows for automation and interoperability. Developing projects oriented towards computational and parametric research tools.
