Biography

Caroline Janjić is an instructor in the Real Estate Development Program at the University of Arizona, where she teaches courses on real estate fundamentals through the lenses of finance, social impact, and environmental stewardship. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Arizona.

Caroline’s professional background spans residential real estate lending and sales leadership as well as service as Chief Operating Officer for a commercial real estate investment firm. In that role, she oversaw investor relations, structured complex deals, negotiated high-value transactions, and partnered closely with development and operating teams to ensure strategic alignment across projects. Her industry experience informs her teaching approach, which emphasizes practical financial literacy, risk assessment, deal structure, and the interpersonal dynamics that shape real estate decisions.

She is particularly interested in the intersection of health, wellness, and design, a theme she continues to explore through her emerging initiative, Sofisticasa. Caroline is deeply committed to mentoring students and supporting their development as thoughtful, capable, and community-minded future professionals.
