This workshop will focus on strategies and techniques to improve your cartography. Learn to use both ArcGIS and Adobe Design Suite to make better maps. 

This workshop is suitable for beginning and advanced ArcGIS users from any discipline and is open to the UArizona campus community.

Please bring your own laptop with ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) and Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator installed.

Laptops can be checked out from the Library, but please arrive at least 30 minutes early to account for software installation time, or check it out the day before. If you need assistance with software installation please reach out to Glenn Ingram, Geospatial Program Assistant here

This workshop is taught by Philip Stoker, Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture in the College of Architecture, Planning & Landscape Architecture where he teaches courses in GIS, Sustainable Development and Environmental Spatial Analysis.
