Biography

Within a year after graduation in 1990, Kacy worked four disappointing jobs for Tucson architects, as a draftsperson, delivering blueprints and secretary before leaving to travel Europe as a musician and watercolor artist.  In 1992 she found work in Barcelona as a secretary and Spanish translator for a London-based drywall company building the '92 Olympic tower.  She met her husband while travelling in a tiny house through Italy and in 1993, they were married in Romania before moving to Tucson to raise two children.  Though she earned a 4.0 GPA studying CAD at Pima Community College in 2012, she never got another job in architecture.  Kacy is currently living off-grid and designing her home in Northern California while working as a science camp counselor.
