The countdown is on!

On Friday, May 15, 2020, the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture will launch the CAPLA Convocation Showcase, celebrating the Class of 2020 graduates as well as their work and awards.

Graduating students in all CAPLA undergraduate and graduate degrees will be included:

  • Bachelor of Architecture
  • Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments
  • Master of Architecture
  • Master of Science in Architecture
  • Master of Landscape Architecture
  • Master of Real Estate Development
  • Master of Science in Urban Planning

The CAPLA Convocation Showcase features an individual page for each graduating student, with their image, project image, degree and awards information, home town, capstone project or thesis title and an optional message and/or quote. Family and friends will be able to post congratulatory messages on the student pages.

The site will also have video speeches from class representatives, Robert Miller, director of the School of Architecture, Lauri Macmillan Johnson, director of the School of Landscape Architecture and Planning, and CAPLA Dean Nancy Pollock-Ellwand. CAPLA clubs, faculty and staff are also providing video, written and image messages of congratulations.

Heather Whiteman Runs Him is a citizen of the Apsaalooke/Crow Nation. She is the Director of the Tribal Justice Clinic and Associate Clinical Professor at University of Arizona Rogers College of Law where she also teaches courses on tribal water rights, tribal courts, and tribal law.
